1764 — Abū Bakr ibn Abī Dāwūd narrated to us, saying: Abbād ibn Yaʿqūb al-Rawājinī narrated to us, saying: Mūsā ibn Umayr informed us, from Jafar ibn Muhammad, from his father, from his grandfather, from Alī—may Allah be pleased with him—who said: The Messenger of Allah—peace and blessings be upon him—said: “O Banū Hāshim! By Him who sent me with the truth, were I to take hold of the ring of the gate of Paradise, I would begin with none but you.”
