1739 — Abū Muhammad ʿAbdullāh ibn Sālih al-Bukhārī informed us, saying: Muhammad ibn ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz ibn Abī Rizma al-Marwazī narrated to us, saying: My father narrated to me, saying: ⦗2258⦘ Isrāʾīl narrated to us, from ʿAbd al-Aʿlā, from Saʿīd ibn Jubayr, from Ibn ʿAbbās, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: “Al-ʿAbbās is of me, and I am of him. Do not insult our dead, thereby causing hurt to our living.”
