1738 — Abu Bakr ibn Abī Dāwūd also narrated to us, saying: I read to al-Hasan ibn Muhammad ibn al-Sabbāh that Bahlūl ibn ʿUbayd had narrated to them, saying: al-Aʿmash narrated to us, from Ibrāhīm, from ʿAlqama, from ʿAbdullāh, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: “Do not harm me by harming al-ʿAbbās. Whoever harms al-ʿAbbās has harmed me, and whoever insults al-ʿAbbās has insulted me. Indeed, a man’s paternal uncle is like his father.”
