1736 — Abū Bakr ibn Abī Dāwūd also narrated to us. He said: Ishāq ibn Hātim ⦗2255⦘ al-ʿAllāf narrated to us. He said: ʿAbd al-Wahhāb ibn ʿAtāʾ narrated to us, from Thawr ibn Yazīd, from Makhūl, from Kurayb, from Ibn ʿAbbās, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said to al-ʿAbbās, may Allah be pleased with him, “When Monday comes, you and your children should come to me.”

He said: So he went early, and we went early with him. The Prophet draped al-ʿAbbās and his children in a cloak of his and said, “O Allah, forgive al-ʿAbbās and his children with a forgiveness, outward and inward, that leaves no sin unforgiven. O Allah, [protect] him in his offspring.”
