1721 — Abū Bakr ibn Abī Dāwūd narrated to us, saying: Ishāq ibn Ibrāhīm al-Nahshalī narrated to us, saying: al-Karmānī ibn Amr narrated to us, saying: Abū Shayba al-Absī said ⦗2239⦘: al-Hakam narrated to us, from Miqsam, from Ibn Abbās, who said: The Messenger of Allah—peace and blessings be upon him—said to Jaʿfar, “Of them all, you most resemble me in physical appearance.” He said to Alī, “You are my brother and my companion; you are of me, and I am of you.”
