1692 — Ibrāhīm ibn Mūsā also informed us, saying: Yūsuf al-Qattān narrated to us, saying: Muhammad ibn Saīd al-Asbahānī narrated to us, saying: Sharīk narrated to us, from Jābir, from Abū Jafar, concerning the saying of Allah, Mighty and Majestic:
“Then say, ‘Come, let us call our sons and your sons’” [Āl Imrān: 61].
He said, “Al-Hasan and al-Husayn. As for ‘our women and your women,’ he said: Fātima; and as for ‘ourselves and yourselves,’ he said: Alī ibn Abī Tālib—may Allah be pleased with him.”
