and they are among those concerning whom the Prophet—may Allah bless him and grant him peace—said: “Every bond, kinship, and affinity by marriage will be severed on the Day of Resurrection except my bond, my kinship, and my affinity by marriage.” They are Alī, Fātima, al-Hasan, al-Husayn, Jafar al-Tayyār, all the children of Alī, all the children of Fātima, all the children of al-Hasan and al-Husayn, their children’s children, their good and blessed progeny, and the children of Khadīja forevermore. May Allah be pleased with them all.
