1689 — Abū Jafar Ahmad ibn Yahyā al-Hulwānī also narrated to us, saying: Abd Allāh ibn Dāhir al-Rāzī narrated to us, saying: Amr ibn Jamī al-Abdī narrated to me, from Amr ibn Ubayd, from al-Hasan, from Imrān ibn Husayn, who said: The Prophet—may Allah bless him and grant him peace—visited Fātima—may Allah be pleased with her—during her illness and said, “My dear daughter, do not grieve. By Him who sent me as a prophet in truth, you are indeed the foremost of all women.” She placed her hand upon her head and said, “Would that she had died! What, then, of Āsiya, Pharaoh’s wife, Mary daughter of Imrān, and Khadīja daughter of Khuwaylid?” He replied, “Āsiya ⦗2199⦘ was the foremost woman of her time, Mary was the foremost woman of her time, Khadīja was the foremost woman of her time, and you are the foremost woman of your time. All of you shall dwell in houses of qasab, in which there is neither harm nor weariness.”

She asked, “O Messenger of Allah, may my father and mother be your ransom, what are houses of qasab?” He replied, “Hollow pearls fashioned into tubes, in which there is neither harm nor clamor.”

Muhammad ibn al-Husayn—may Allah have mercy on him—said: I have mentioned such of Khadīja’s virtues—may Allah be pleased with her—as I could recall in Mecca. Allah alone grants success.
