1686 — Mūsā ibn Hārūn narrated to us, saying: Surayj ibn Yūnus narrated to us, saying: Ismā‘īl ibn Mujālid narrated to us, from Mujālid, from al-Sha‘bī, from Jābir ibn ‘Abd Allāh, who reported that the Messenger of Allah—may Allah bless him and grant him peace—was asked about Khadīja, as she had died before the prescribed duties and legal rulings were revealed. He replied: “I beheld her beside one of the rivers of Paradise, in a house of hollow pearl, in which there is neither idle talk nor weariness.”
