Abū al-Qāsim informed us, saying: Ishāq ibn Ibrāhīm al-Baghawī related to us, and Ahmad ibn Hanbal’s cousin related to us, saying: I heard Ahmad ibn Hanbal when he was asked about one who says, “The Quran is created.” He replied, “He is an unbeliever.”
