1659 — Ibrāhīm ibn Mūsā al-Jawzī also informed us: Ya‘qūb ibn Ibrāhīm al-Dawraqī narrated to us: ‘Abd al-Rahmān ibn Mahdī narrated to us: Hammād ibn Zayd narrated to us, from ‘Alī ibn Zayd, from al-Hasan, from Abū Bakra, who said: While the Messenger of Allah—peace and blessings be upon him—⦗2169⦘ was delivering a sermon, al-Hasan ibn ‘Alī—may Allah be pleased with them both—came and climbed onto the pulpit. The Messenger of Allah—peace and blessings be upon him—then said: “This son of mine is a leader, and Allah, Mighty and Majestic, will reconcile through him two great groups of Muslims.”
