Al-Shariah li-al-AjurriAl-Ajurri

1646 — Abu Ja‘far Muhammad ibn Khālid al-Baradha‘ī narrated to me in the Sacred Mosque. He said: Muhammad ibn Sulaymān ibn Bint Matar al-Warrāq narrated to us. He said: Ubayd Allah ibn Mūsā narrated to us, from Alī ibn Abī Sālih, from Āsim, from Zirr, from Abd Allah, who said:

“The Messenger of Allah—peace and blessings be upon him—would pray, and whenever he prostrated, al-Hasan and al-Husayn—may Allah be pleased with them both—would leap onto his back. Whenever those present tried to stop them, he would gesture to them to leave the two alone. When he had finished praying, he placed them on his lap and then said, ‘Whoever loves me should love these two.’”
