1637 — ‘Umar ibn Ayyūb al-Saqatī also narrated to us: ‘Uthmān ibn Abī Shaybah narrated to us: Shabābah—that is, ibn Sawwār—narrated to us, from Shu‘bah, from ‘Adī ibn Thābit, from al-Barā’, who said:

I saw the Prophet—peace and blessings be upon him—carrying Hasan ibn ‘Alī—may Allah be pleased with them both—on his shoulder, and he said, “O Allah, I love him, so love him.”
