I called upon the Messenger of Allah—peace and blessings be upon him—one night concerning a need of his. The Messenger of Allah—peace and blessings be upon him—came out with something wrapped in his garment. I asked, “O Messenger of Allah, what is this that you have wrapped in your garment?” He uncovered it, and there were Hasan and Husayn—may Allah be pleased with them both. ⦗2150⦘ He then said, “These two are my sons and the sons of Fātimah. O Allah, You know that I love them, so love them.”
