164 — Abū al-Qāsim Abd Allah ibn Muhammad ibn Abd al-Azīz al-Baghawī related to us, saying: Husayn ibn Alī al-Ijlī related to us, saying: Ahmad ibn Yūnus related to us, saying: I heard Abd Allah ibn al-Mubārak recite part of the Quran and then say, “Whoever claims that this is created has disbelieved in Allah the Almighty.”
١٦٤ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ الْبَغَوِيُّ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْعِجْلِيُّ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يُونُسَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ الْمُبَارَكِ قَرَأَ شَيْئًا مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ ثُمَّ قَالَ: مَنْ زَعَمَ أَنَّ هَذَا مَخْلُوقٌ، فَقَدْ كَفَرَ بِاللَّهِ الْعَظِيمِ
