1582 — Abū al-Qāsim Abd Allah ibn Muhammad ibn Abd al-Azīz al-Baghawī narrated to us; he said: Sulaymān ibn Umar al-Raqqī narrated to us; he said: Muhammad ibn Musab narrated to us, from Amr ibn Abī al-Miqdām—also called Amr ibn Thābit—from his father, from Saīd ibn Jubayr, who said: Ali—may Allah be pleased with him—was mentioned in the presence of Ibn Abbas, and he said: “You have indeed mentioned a man who used to hear Gabriel’s footsteps—peace be upon him—upon the roof of his house.”
