While the Messenger of Allah—peace and blessings be upon him—was holding my hand as we walked through the streets of Medina, we passed by a garden. I said, “O Messenger of Allah, how beautiful it is!” He replied, “You shall have one more beautiful than it in Paradise.” Then we passed by another, and I said, “O Messenger of Allah, how beautiful it is!” He replied, “You shall have one more beautiful than it in Paradise.” This continued until we had passed nine gardens. At each one I would say, “O Messenger of Allah, how beautiful it is!” and he would reply, “You shall have one more beautiful than it in Paradise.”
