1573 — Abu Shuayb Abd Allah ibn al-Hasan al-Harrānī narrated to us; he said: My grandfather narrated to me; he said: Mūsā ibn Ayun narrated to us, from Abd Allah ibn Muhammad ibn Aqīl, from Jābir ⦗2086⦘ ibn Abd Allah, who said:

We went with the Prophet—peace and blessings be upon him—to visit a woman of the Ansār, and we sat in a date-palm grove belonging to her. He said, “A man from among the people of Paradise will come up to you.” Jābir said: He began looking among the date palms and saying, “O Allah, if You will, let it be Ali.” Ali—may Allah be pleased with him—then appeared.
