1556 — Abū Bakr Qāsim ibn Zakariyyā al-Mutarriz related to us, saying: Muhammad ibn Ishkāb related to us, saying: Ubayd Allah ibn Mūsā related to us, saying: Sufyān al-Thawrī informed us, from Abū ⦗2073⦘ Ishāq, from Abū al-Kanūd—namely, Amr ibn Hubshī—from Ali—may Allah be pleased with him—who said: The Prophet—may Allah’s blessings and peace be upon him—sent me to Yemen. I said, “O Messenger of Allah, you are sending me to a people whose elders are advanced in years, and I fear that I may not reach the correct judgment.” The Messenger of Allah—may Allah’s blessings and peace be upon him—replied, “Indeed, Allah—Mighty and Majestic—will make your tongue firm and guide your heart.”
