1541 — Abū Bakr ibn Abī Dāwud narrated to us, saying: Muhammad ibn Bashshār narrated to us, saying: Muhammad ibn Jafar—that is, Ghundar—narrated to us, saying: Shubah narrated to us from Abū Ishāq, who said: I heard Saīd ibn Wahb say: Ali—may Allah be pleased with him—adjured the people, whereupon five or six Companions of the Prophet—may Allah’s blessings and peace be upon him—stood and testified that the Messenger of Allah—may Allah’s blessings and peace be upon him—said: “Whoever has me as his mawlā has Ali as his mawlā.”
