1535 — Al-Firyābī narrated to us, saying: Muhammad ibn al-Muthannā narrated to us, saying: Yahyā ibn Abī Bukayr narrated to us ⦗2058⦘, saying: Isrā’īl narrated to us, from Abū Ishāq, from Abū Abd Allah al-Jadalī, who said: I visited Umm Salama—may Allah be pleased with her—and she asked me, “Is the Messenger of Allah—may Allah’s blessings and peace be upon him—reviled among you?” I replied, “Allah forbid!” or “Glory be to Allah!” or words to that effect. She then said: “I heard the Messenger of Allah—may Allah’s blessings and peace be upon him—say: ‘Whoever reviles Alī has indeed reviled me.’”
