1511 – Abū Muhammad ʿAbd Allah ibn Sālih al-Bukhārī informed us, saying: al-Hasan ibn ʿAlī al-Halwānī narrated to us, saying: ʿImrān ibn Abān narrated to us, saying: Mālik ibn ⦗2041⦘ al-Hasan ibn Mālik ibn al-Huwayrith narrated to us, saying: My father narrated to me, from my grandfather Mālik ibn al-Huwayrith, who said: The Messenger of Allah—may Allah bless him and grant him peace—said to ʿAlī—may Allah be pleased with him: “Are you not content to hold the same standing in relation to me as Aaron held in relation to Moses, except that there is no prophet after me?”
