1509 – Abū Bakr ibn Abī Dāwūd also narrated to us, saying: Nasr ibn ʿAlī narrated to me, saying: ʿAbd Allah ibn Dāwūd informed us, from ʿAlī ibn Sālih, from Mūsā al-Juhanī, from ⦗2040⦘ Fātima bint ʿAlī—may Allah be pleased with her—from Asmāʾ bint ʿUmays, that the Messenger of Allah—may Allah bless him and grant him peace—said to ʿAlī—may Allah be pleased with him: “You hold the same standing in relation to me as Aaron held in relation to Moses, except that there is no prophet after me.”
