1506 – Abū Bakr ibn Abī Dāwūd also narrated to us, saying: Salama ibn Shabīb narrated to us, saying: ʿAbd al-Razzāq narrated to us from Maʿmar, from Qatāda and ʿAlī ibn Zayd, from Saʿīd ibn al-Musayyib, from Saʿd ibn Abī Waqqās, who said: The Messenger of Allah—may Allah bless him and grant him peace—said to ʿAlī ibn Abī Tālib—may Allah be pleased with him: “You hold the same standing in relation to me as Aaron held in relation to Moses, except that there is no prophet after me.”
