1498 — Abū al-Hasan ʿAlī ibn Ishāq ibn Zātiyā narrated to us: ʿUthmān ibn ʿAbd Allāh al-ʿUthmānī narrated to us: al-Zanjī Muslim ibn Khālid narrated to us: Jaʿfar ibn Muhammad narrated to us, from his father, from his grandfather, that Gabriel—peace be upon him—came to the Prophet—may Allah bless him and grant him peace—and said, “O Muhammad, Allah—Glorious is His Majesty—commands you to love ʿAlī and to love whoever loves ʿAlī, for Allah—Glorious is His Majesty—loves ʿAlī and loves whoever loves ʿAlī.” They asked, “O Messenger of Allah, what of one who hates ʿAlī?” He replied, “He is one who incites people to enmity toward him.”
١٤٩٨ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ زَاطِيَا قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْعُثْمَانِيُّ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا الزَّنْجِيُّ مُسْلِمُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ , عَنْ أَبِيهِ , عَنْ جَدِّهِ ,: أَنَّ جِبْرِيلَ ﵊ أَتَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَقَالَ: يَا مُحَمَّدُ , إِنَّ اللَّهَ ﷿ يَأْمُرُكَ أَنْ تُحِبَّ عَلِيًّا , وَتُحِبَّ مَنْ يُحِبُّ عَلِيًّا , فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ ﷿ يُحِبُّ عَلِيًّا , وَيُحِبُّ مَنْ يُحِبُّ عَلِيًّا قَالُوا: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَمَنْ يُبْغِضُ عَلِيًّا؟ قَالَ: «مَنْ يَحْمِلُ النَّاسَ عَلَى عَدَاوَتِهِ»
