1477 — Abū Muhammad Abd Allah ibn Muhammad ibn Nājiya narrated to us, saying: Abū Kurayb Muhammad ibn al-Alā narrated to us, saying: Yūnus ibn Bukayr narrated to us, from al-Nadr Abū Umar, from Ikrima, from Ibn Abbās, that the Messenger of Allah—may Allah bless him and grant him peace—said: “Should I not feel modest before one before whom the angels feel modest? Indeed, the angels feel modest before Uthmān ibn Affān.”
