1463 — Ibn Abī Dāwūd also narrated to us, saying: Abd Allah ibn Saīd narrated to us, saying: Abū Tumayla narrated to us, saying: Muhammad ibn Ishāq mentioned that he had heard the voice of the jinn:

[Hazaj meter]

The women of the jinn weep for you,
Weeping, stricken with grief;
They claw at faces
As pure as golden dinars;
And don garments of black
After their fine linen robes.
