1455 — Abū Bakr ibn Abī Dāwūd narrated to us. He said: Ishāq ibn Mansūr al-Kawsaj narrated to us. He said: Abd al-Karīm ibn Rawh ibn Anbasah ibn Saīd informed us. He said: My father narrated to me, from his father, from Umm Ayyāsh, who said:
“The Messenger of Allah—peace and blessings be upon him—left Uthmān—may Allah be pleased with him—behind to care for Ruqayyah during the days of Badr, as she was ill. He therefore remained with her, and the Messenger of Allah—peace and blessings be upon him—guaranteed him his share at Badr and the reward of participating in Badr.”
