1446 — Umar ibn Ayyūb al-Saqatī narrated to us. He said: Abū Hishām al-Rifāī ⦗1969⦘ narrated to us. He said: Abd Allāh ibn Idrīs narrated to us, from Layth ibn Abī Sulaym, from Ziyād ibn Abī Malīh, from his father, from Ibn Abbās, who said, “Had they all joined together in killing Uthmān—may Allah be pleased with him—they would have been pelted with stones, just as the people of Lot were pelted.”
