1406 — Abū Muhammad Abd Allah ibn Muhammad ibn Nājiya informed us, saying: ⦗1939⦘ Muhammad ibn Harb al-Wāsitī narrated to us, saying: Umayr ibn Imrān al-Hanafī narrated to us, from Ibn Jurayj, from Atā, from Ibn Abbās, who said: The Messenger of Allah—may Allah bless him and grant him peace—said: “Allah—glorious is His majesty—revealed to me that I should give my two cherished daughters in marriage to Uthmān ibn Affān.”
