Chapter: A Summary of the Merits of Abū Bakr and Umar—may Allah be pleased with them both

Muhammad ibn al-Husayn—may Allah have mercy on him—said: I have given a concise account of the merits of Abū Bakr and Umar—may Allah be pleased with them both—mentioning what came to mind while I was in Mecca. By Allah’s praise, their merits are many, and what I have mentioned is sufficient for anyone who knows it. May Allah Most Generous increase his love for them both.
