1383 — Abū Bakr Abd Allāh ibn Muhammad ibn Abd al-Hamīd al-Wāsitī narrated to us, saying: Muhammad ibn Rizq Allāh al-Kalwadhānī narrated to us, saying: Ahmad ibn Hanbal narrated to us, saying: Muhammad ibn Bishr narrated to us, saying: Misar ibn Kidām narrated to me, from Abd al-Malik ibn Maysara, from Musab ibn Sad ibn Abī Waqqās, from Muādh ibn Jabal, who said: “Indeed, Umar ibn al-Khattāb—may Allah be pleased with him—is surely among the people of Paradise, for whatever the Messenger of Allah—may Allah bless him and grant him peace—saw, whether awake or asleep, was true. He said: ‘While I was asleep, I saw myself enter Paradise, where I saw a house. I asked, “Whose house is this?” and was told, “It belongs to Umar ibn al-Khattāb.”’”
