1374 — Al-Firyābī narrated to us, saying: Qutaybah ibn Saīd narrated to us, saying: al-Layth ibn Sa‘d narrated to us, from Aqīl, from al-Zuhrī, from Hamzah ibn Abd Allah ibn Umar, from Abd Allah ibn Umar, who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah—may Allah bless him and grant him peace—say: “While I was asleep, I was brought a cup of milk. I drank from it and then gave what remained to Umar ibn al-Khattāb.” They asked, “How did you interpret it, O Messenger of Allah?” He replied, “Knowledge.”
