1355 — Al-Firyābī narrated to us, saying: Muhammad ibn Abī al-Sarī al-Asqalānī narrated to us, saying: Bishr ibn Bakr narrated to us, saying: Abū Bakr ibn Abī Maryam narrated to us, from Habīb ibn Ubayd, from Ghudayf ibn al-Hārith, from Bilāl—may Allah be pleased with him—who said: The Messenger of Allah—may Allah bless him and grant him peace—said: “The truth was placed upon Umar’s heart and tongue.”
