1335 — Abū Muhammad Abdullāh ibn Muhammad ibn Nājiya informed us, saying: Wahb ibn Baqiyya al-Wāsitī narrated to us, saying: Khālid ibn Abdullāh al-Tahhān informed us, from Ibn Abī Laylā, from Atiyya, from Abū Sa‘īd, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: “Those who occupy the highest ranks will surely be seen by those beneath them just as you see a rising star on the horizon of heaven. Abū Bakr and Umar are among them—and what excellent men they are!”
