1311 — Ibrāhīm ibn al-Haytham al-Nāqid informed us, saying: Abū Ma‘mar al-Qatī‘ī narrated to us, saying: Ishāq al-Rāzī narrated to us, from Abū Ja‘far al-Rāzī, from al-Rabī‘ ibn Anas, who said: “It is written in the earlier Scripture: ‘The likeness of Abū Bakr is that of rain: wherever it falls, it brings benefit.’” ⦗1846⦘
