1286 — Abū al-Qāsim Abd Allāh ibn Muhammad ibn Abd al-Azīz al-Baghawī narrated to us, saying: Sawwār ibn Abd Allāh, the judge, narrated to us, saying: Abū Yaʿlā al-Tawwazī narrated to us, saying: I heard Sufyān ibn Uyaynah say: “Allah—Glorious is His Majesty—reproached all the Muslims concerning His Prophet—peace and blessings be upon him—except Abū Bakr alone, for he was exempted from the reproach.” He then recited the words of Allah—Glorious is His Majesty—: “If you do not support him, Allah has already supported him when those who disbelieved drove him out as one of two” [al-Tawbah: 40].
١٢٨٦ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ الْبَغَوِيُّ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سَوَّارُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْقَاضِي , قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو يَعْلَى التَّوَّزِيُّ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ سُفْيَانَ بْنَ عُيَيْنَةَ قَالَ: " عَاتَبَ اللَّهُ ﷿ الْمُسْلِمِينَ جَمِيعًا فِي نَبِيِّهِ ﷺ غَيْرَ أَبِي بَكْرٍ وَحْدَهُ , فَإِنَّهُ أُخْرِجَ مِنَ الْمُعَاتَبَةِ وَتَلَا قَوْلِهِ ﷿ ﴿إِلَّا تَنْصُرُوهُ فَقَدْ نَصَرَهُ اللَّهُ إِذْ أَخْرَجَهُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا ثَانِيَ اثْنَيْنِ﴾ [التوبة: ٤٠] "
