1248 – Abū al-Qāsim Abd Allāh ibn Muhammad ibn Abd al-Azīz al-Baghawī also narrated to us: Abū Sa'īd Abd Allāh ibn Sa'īd al-Ashajj narrated to us: Uqba ibn Khālid ⦗1795⦘ al-Sakūnī narrated to us, from Shu'ba, from al-Jurayrī, from Abū Nadra, from Abū Sa'īd, who said: Abū Bakr—may Allah be pleased with him—said, “Am I not the person most entitled to it? Was I not the first to embrace Islam? Was I not the one associated with such-and-such? Was I not the one associated with such-and-such?”
