126 — Umar ibn Ayyūb narrated to us, saying: Mahfūz narrated to us, saying: ⦗445⦘ Ibrāhīm ibn Khālid al-Sanānī narrated to us, saying: Rabāh ibn Zayd narrated to us, from Ma‘mar, from Ibn Tāwūs, from his father, that a man said to Ibn Abbās, “Praise be to Allah, who has made our inclination accord with yours.” Ibn Abbās replied, “Every personal inclination is misguidance.”
