1213 — Al-Firyābī also narrated to us: Minjāb ibn al-Hārith narrated to us: Alī ibn Mushir narrated to us, from Misar ibn Kidām, from Abd al-Malik ibn Maysara, from al-Nazzāl ibn Sabra, who said:

“I heard Abd Allah ibn Masūd say, when Uthmān was appointed caliph, ‘We appointed the best of those who remained to lead us, and we were not remiss in our choice.’”
