1203 — Abū Bakr Jafar ibn Muhammad al-Firyābī narrated to us, saying: Muhammad ibn Abd Allah ibn Numayr narrated to us, saying: Abd Allah ibn Yazīd Abū Abd al-Rahmān al-Muqri narrated to us, saying: Haywa ibn Shurayh narrated to us from Bakr ibn Amr and from Mishrah ibn Hāān, who said: I heard Uqba ibn Āmir say: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “If there were to be a prophet after me, it would be Umar ibn al-Khattāb.”
