1187 — And Abu al-Qāsim also informed us, saying: Abu Khaythama Zuhayr ibn Harb narrated to us, saying: Yahyā ibn Sulaym al-Tā’ifī narrated to us, saying: Ja’far ibn Muhammad narrated to us, from his father, from Abd Allāh ibn Ja’far al-Tayyār (may Allah be pleased with them both), who said: Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) governed us—“and he was the best of caliphs, the most merciful and compassionate toward us.”
