1169 – Abū Ja‘far Muhammad ibn Sālih ibn Dharīh al-Ukbarī narrated to us, saying ⦗1697⦘: Abū Bakr ibn Abī Shayba narrated to us, saying: Abū al-Ahwas narrated to us, from Husayn, from Hilāl ibn Yasāf, from Abd Allah ibn Zālim, from Sa‘īd ibn Zayd, who said: “I testify that the nine are in Paradise, and if I were to testify concerning the tenth, I would be speaking the truth.” He said: I asked, “How is that?” He replied: “The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, was on Mount Hirā with Abū Bakr, Umar, Uthmān, Alī, Talha, al-Zubayr, Sa‘d, and Abd al-Rahmān ibn Awf. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: ‘Be still, Hirā, for there is none upon you but a prophet, a man of utmost truthfulness, or a martyr.’” He said: I asked, “Who is the tenth?” He replied, “I am.”
