1162 – Ibn ‘Abd al-Hamīd also reported to us. He said: Zayd ibn Akhzam reported to us. He said: Abū Qutaybah reported to us. He said: Ismā‘īl reported to us, from Simāk ibn Harb, from Sa‘īd ibn Jubayr, from Ibn ‘Abbās, regarding the words of Allah, Almighty and Majestic: “You are the best nation brought forth for mankind” [Āl ‘Imrān: 110]. He said: “They are those who emigrated with Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him).”
