Chapter: What Allah—Glorified and Exalted is He—Has Said in Praise of the Emigrants and the Helpers in His Book, and the Honors He Bestowed upon Them

Allah—Glorified and Exalted is He—said:

“The foremost—the first of the Emigrants and the Helpers—and those who followed them with excellence: Allah is pleased with them, and they are pleased with Him. He has prepared for them gardens beneath which rivers flow, where they shall abide forever. That is the supreme triumph.” [al-Tawba: 100]

He—Glorified and Exalted is He—said:

“Indeed, those who believed, emigrated, and strove with their wealth and their lives in the cause of Allah, and those who gave them refuge and support—they are allies of one another.” [al-Anfāl: 72]

He—Glorified and Exalted is He—said:

“Those who believed, emigrated, and strove in the cause of Allah, and those who gave them refuge and support—it is they who are truly the believers. For them are forgiveness and a generous provision. As for those who later believed, emigrated, and strove alongside you, they are of you. Yet blood relatives have a greater claim upon one another according to the Book of Allah. Indeed, Allah has knowledge of all things.”

He—Glorified and Exalted is He—said:

“It is for the poor Emigrants who were driven from their homes and deprived of their possessions, seeking bounty and pleasure from Allah and supporting Allah and His Messenger. It is they who are truthful. And those who were settled in the Home and in faith before them…” up to His words:
