Ibn Abī Dāwūd said: ʿAlī ibn Harb al-Mawsilī also narrated to us, saying: Ibn Fudayl narrated to us, from Layth, from Mujāhid, concerning “Perhaps your Lord will raise you to a station of praise” [al-Isrāʾ: 79]. He said: “He will seat you with Him upon the Throne.”
