1099 — Abū Muhammad ibn Sāʿid also narrated to us, saying: al-Husayn ibn al-Hasan al-Marwazī narrated to us, saying: Muhammad ibn ʿUbayd narrated to us, saying: Dāwūd al-Awdī narrated to us, from his father, from Abū Hurayra, concerning the words of Allah Almighty, “Perhaps your Lord will raise you to a station of praise” [al-Isrāʾ: 79]. He said: The Prophet—may Allah bless him and grant him peace—said: “It is the station at which I will intercede for my nation.”
