1097 — Abū Bakr ibn Abī Dāwūd al-Sijistānī and Abū Muhammad Yahyā ibn Muhammad ibn Sāʿid narrated to us, saying: Muhammad ibn ʿUthmān ibn Abī Safwān al-Thaqafī narrated to us, saying: Yahyā ibn Kathīr al-ʿAnbarī narrated to us, saying: Salm ibn Jaʿfar narrated to us, saying: Saʿīd al-Jurayrī narrated to us, saying: Sayf al-Sadūsī narrated to us, from ʿAbd Allah ibn Salām, who said:

“On the Day of Resurrection, your Prophet will be brought and seated before Allah—Mighty and Majestic—upon His Footstool.”

A man then said to Abū Saʿīd al-Jurayrī, “O Abū Saʿīd, if he is upon His Footstool, then he is with Him.” He replied, “Woe to you all! Of all the hadiths in this world, none is more pleasing to my eyes than this.”
