1095 — Abū Muhammad Yahyā ibn Muhammad ibn Sāʿid narrated to us, saying: ⦗1607⦘ Muhammad ibn Abd al-Malik ibn Zanjawayh narrated to us, saying: Muhammad ibn Yūsuf al-Firyābī narrated to us, saying: Qays narrated to us, from Āsim ibn Abī al-Najūd, from Zirr, from Abd Allah ibn Masʿūd, who said: “Allah—Mighty and Majestic—took Abraham as an intimate friend, and your Companion is Allah’s intimate friend. Muhammad—may Allah bless him and grant him peace—will indeed be the master of the children of Adam on the Day of Resurrection.” He then recited: “Perhaps your Lord will raise you to a Praiseworthy Station.” [al-Isrā’: 79]
