Chapter: The Praiseworthy Station with Which Allah Distinguished the Prophet—may Allah bless him and grant him peace—on the Day of Resurrection

Muhammad ibn al-Husayn—may Allah have mercy on him—said: Know—may Allah have mercy on us and you—that Allah—Mighty and Majestic—granted our Prophet—may Allah bless him and grant him peace—such immense honor and abundant favor as He had granted no prophet before him, as we have already related. He also granted him the Praiseworthy Station, thereby increasing him in honor and excellence. In it, Allah the Generous brought together for him every splendid privilege, including intercession for creation and sitting upon the Throne. Allah the Generous singled out our Prophet—may Allah bless him and grant him peace—with this and thereby gave him cause for delight. The first and the last will admire him for it. Allah the Generous brought joy to the believers through the immense honor and splendid distinction with which He singled out their Prophet. The scholars received it with the fullest acceptance, so praise be to Allah for that.

Allah—Mighty and Majestic—said to His Prophet Muhammad—may Allah bless him and grant him peace—:

“And during part of the night, keep vigil in prayer with it as an additional act of worship for you; perhaps your Lord will raise you to a Praiseworthy Station.” [al-Isrā’: 79]
